Native Low Water Landscape

Homeowner desired a landscape with low water needs and little turf to mow. Many regionally native and adapted low water plants were used in the landscape. The incorporation of berms, boulders, a dry creek bed and shortgrass prairie turf that rarely need to be mowed evoked a native, low maintenance feel to the front yard landscape. The backyard reveals a more traditional landscape with a small patch of Kentucky bluegrass and many raised vegetable beds to fill the client's desire for lots of home grown fruits and vegetables.
